Our goal is to raise $3 million CAD to invest in the PMPT, which will serve as a perpetual funding source, allowing us not only to sustain our programs, but to dream bigger, invest in new ideas, and expand our impact for lemurs, forests, and the communities who depend on them.

The Planet Madagascar Permanent Trust (PMPT) represents a long-term goal to achieve lasting financial stability to sustain our work. The span of the work we do at Planet Madagascar is wide, and the scope of our dreams is even bigger. We currently have several ongoing long-term projects that have so far relied on the support of individual grants or donors. Our ongoing long-term projects include: fire management, forest restoration, women’s cooperative, and the Andranohobaka School. The fire management team, the women's cooperative, and forest restoration planters are staffed by local residents from the three core communities we work in. As we look forward to growing these projects and beginning new initiatives, we need a consistent source of funding that will cover the operating costs for the projects and our organization.
