Conservation Education:

Education is a fundamental aspect of any conservation program. It is our goal to engage people about the the importance of the immense and unique biodiversity of Madagascar. We will use education as a tool to inform communities that live in connection with wildlife the important role that nature plays in allowing for a healthy and sustainable lifestyle.

Conservation for the sake of nature is a noble goal in its own right but in most places people and wildlife live in connection. Often this connection is in conflict, people need and use the resources that in turn become threatened. To ensure successful conservation of nature we must consider the needs and considerations of people who live in the environments we plan to protect. Our objective within communities is to foster a sense of stewardship of the environment. We will help community members help themselves to improve their standards of living while reducing their impact on the environment that they rely on. This approach allows both ensures that the environment is sustained for now and into the future.
